Keki Adhikari Joins ‘Maharajdhiraj’ as Queen, Strengthening Star-Studded Lineup

Kathmandu — Nepali actress Keki Adhikari has officially joined the upcoming film Maharajdhiraj in the role of a queen, adding further strength to its already impressive cast.

Presenter Biraj Bista welcomed her warmly, expressing gratitude for her involvement. Adhikari’s entry comes shortly after she announced her own project Station.

Actor Pushpa Khadka has already been confirmed in the lead role. His intense commitment drew attention after he reportedly sealed his contract with a blood thumbprint. The film’s poster hints at a blend of period drama and thriller elements.

Directed by Parichhed Sen, the project is described as his dream venture and is set to begin shooting in the second week of Baisakh.

The film features a large ensemble cast including Neer Shah, Aryan Sigdel, Ramesh Upreti, and Barsha Raut, among others, with around 80 actors involved.

Filming will begin in Sunsari’s Srilanka Island before moving to historical locations in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Kirtipur. Cinematography will be handled by Nabaraj Thapa.

Produced by Rabi Khadka, Shivraj Poudel, and Topendra Bista, the film is slated for release nationwide during the Dashain festival, targeting the auspicious Phulpati day.
