Actor Saugat Malla has expressed strong excitement for his upcoming film Paralko Aago, saying the project offers him a refreshing storyline and new co-actors.
Malla highlighted his experience working with singer-turned-actor Prakash Saput, calling the collaboration smooth and natural. He noted that although they had rarely met before, he had long been a fan of Saput’s music.
He also praised actress Suhana Thapa, saying working with her in a rural setting for about a month helped him observe her dedication and acting skills closely. He even said she reminded him of veteran actress Jharana Thapa in terms of work ethic and screen presence.
Director Laxman Sunar, with whom Malla previously worked on Kalli, also contributed to his decision to join the project. The film is based on the classic story by Guru Prasad Mainali, which Malla described as an honor to adapt.
Produced by Sushil Pokharel, with screenplay and dialogues by Sushil Devkota, the film is set for release on Baisakh 11 under the banner of Hari Om Cine Makers Pvt. Ltd.
The cast includes Saugat Malla, Prakash Saput, Suhana Thapa, Srjana Adhikari, Kishor Bhandari, Jack Shrestha, Sarita Bhattarai, Renu Nyaupane, and child artist Manjila Baniya.
