Kathmandu — The upcoming Nepali film Kakakiki, produced by the team behind the popular TV show Comedy Darbar, has officially announced its release date for September 4 (Bhado 19).
The production team released a new poster featuring the character looks of lead actors, including Gauri Malla, Tripti Nadkar, Rekha Thapa, and Mahesh Tripathi.
The unusual and stylized character presentations have sparked curiosity among audiences, with the film widely expected to be a mystery-driven narrative.
The film is co-directed by Bikki Agrawal and Shraddha Prasai, with Anish Budhathoki serving as assistant director.
The ensemble cast also includes Diya Maskey, Shishir Wangdel, Prakash Ghimire, Mao Tse Gurung, and others.
Conceptual development is led by Suman Agrawal, with screenplay contributions from multiple writers. Cinematography is handled by Sudip Baral.
The film’s title design is created by Trident Concept, and promotional materials are designed in-house by the office team.
Producers say the film will offer a unique cinematic experience built around suspense and strong character-driven storytelling.
