Kathmandu — The Film Development Board has released box office figures for films running in theaters up to last Saturday, showing a strong performance for some releases and weaker returns for others.

The Nepali film Ram Naam Satya, starring Biraj Bhatta, has collected NPR 27,818,841 in gross revenue, according to the report. The film sold 97,205 tickets during the same period.

In contrast, the film Pahad, directed by veteran filmmaker Tulsi Ghimire, has recorded significantly lower earnings.

As per the data, Pahad earned NPR 4,676,637 in gross revenue and was watched by 14,318 viewers during the reported period.

The figures highlight a clear disparity in audience turnout and commercial performance between the two releases.
