The second song from the upcoming film ‘Mitjyu’, set to release on Jestha 8, titled ‘Bhunbhun Makhuri’, has been officially released. As the release date approaches, the production team unveiled the song via the OSR YouTube channel.
The video features lead actors Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, and Rusa Nyaupane performing lively dance sequences. Based on a folk melody, the song beautifully portrays the love story and emotional connection between three characters. The lyrics, including “Don’t say we are apart, I am always with you, my dear,” express deep romantic emotions.
Saugat Malla is seen in a distinct look compared to his previous films. The song is written and composed by Shree Krishna Bam Malla, who also provides the male vocals, while Laxmi Malla contributes female vocals.
The choreography is done by Nigma D. Lepcha, whose unique style enhances the performance of all three lead actors. The song, inspired by Dohori culture, is filmed in a Dohori venue setting, making it more vibrant and realistic.
Set in a rural backdrop, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, and Teriya Fauja Magar, along with a large ensemble cast including Pushkar Gurung, Shishir Wangdel, Raj Thapa, Suvarna Thapa, Anu Thapa, Smita Lamichhane, Arun Pun Magar, Uttamraj Pandey, Sabin Kattel, Umesh Sonam, Pavitra Khadka, Chahana Rana Magar, Anusha Rai, and Khadgabahadur Pun Magar (Khabpu). Teriya Magar makes her acting debut in this film.
Directed by Anil Budha Magar, the film is produced by Janak Gharti Magar under GM Movies Production. Editing is done by Lokesh Bajracharya, while cinematography is by Shishir Bishnke.
Music is composed by Shree Krishna Bam Malla, with vocals by him, Melina Rai, and Laxmi Malla. Firoz Khadka serves as the chief assistant director. The film is distributed by RR Films, and its digital rights have been acquired by OSR.
The earlier released song ‘Gaira Ghare Kaili’ was widely appreciated and continues to be popular among audiences.
