Anticipation surrounding 12 Gaun 2, the upcoming film directed by and starring Biraj Bhatt, continues to grow as the production team reveals a mix of veteran and new actors joining the cast.
According to the filmmakers, veteran actor Raj Hamal is making his return to Nepali cinema after nearly 20 years. He previously gained popularity through films such as Batuli, Jai Shiva Shankar and Ma Chhuni Timro. His comeback through 12 Gaun 2 is being viewed as a major return in the Nepali film industry.
Actor Kalu Rana, who drew attention in the first installment 12 Gaun after a memorable scene involving Biraj Bhatt’s powerful kick, will also reprise his role in the sequel.
The production team said filming is currently progressing at full pace. Blending action, drama and family emotions, the movie is being prepared for a nationwide release during the Dashain Fulpati festival this year.
The film will feature Biraj Bhatt alongside several new and popular actors. Following the success of the first installment, the makers claim audience expectations for 12 Gaun 2 have significantly increased.
