The trailer of Mitajyu, produced under the GM Movies Production banner, has been officially released. The production team unveiled the trailer during a press conference held on Monday.

The trailer features Dayahang Rai and Saugat Malla as close friends tied by the traditional Nepali “Miteri” bond. Set in a rural village connected by a newly built road, both characters work as drivers competing to transport passengers faster than each other.

Alongside the rivalry, the trailer highlights their deep friendship and emotional connection. One notable scene shows Saugat visiting Dayahang’s home carrying a rooster as a symbolic gift, while Teriya Magar delivers a humorous village-style dialogue that adds charm to the story.

The trailer also explores tension, conflict, and superstition surrounding the Miteri relationship, with an astrologer warning the characters not to take the bond lightly. Action-packed driving competition, emotional drama, and disputes between the two friends form the core of the narrative.

Directed by Anil Budha Magar and produced by Janak Gharti Magar, the rural drama stars Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, and Teriya Magar alongside a large ensemble cast.

The film marks Teriya Magar’s debut as an actress. Actress Rusha Nyaupane also appears in a special dance number in the movie.

The film features editing by Lokesh Bajracharya, cinematography by Shishir Bishankhe, and music composed by Shreekrishna Bam Malla. Vocals for the songs are provided by Shreekrishna Bam Malla, Melina Rai, and Laxmi Malla.

Distributed by RR Films, the movie’s digital rights have been acquired by OSR. The film is scheduled for nationwide release in Nepal on May 21.

According to the production team, screening rights for the film have already been sold out in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malta, Singapore, and Poland ahead of its official release.
