Actor Mahesh Tripathi has officially signed on for the upcoming Nepali film Maan Binako Dhan 2, directed by Tank Budhathoki. The director confirmed that a formal agreement has already been completed with the actor.
Details regarding Mahesh’s role in the film have not yet been disclosed. The movie is said to be based on a family and social drama storyline.
Earlier, actress Pooja Sharma had also joined the project. However, the production team has remained silent on whether Pooja and Mahesh will be paired together on screen.
The screenplay and dialogues are being written by Shivam Adhikari, who is currently working actively on the script. The story and music of the film will be handled by director Budhathoki himself.
According to Tank Budhathoki, the team plans to cast several well-known and audience-favorite actors in the project. The film will be produced under the banner of Tank Budhathoki Films.
Producer Bishnu Maya Mainali will bankroll the project.
