Kathmandu — Despite facing widespread controversy and criticism, the box office performance of Swastima Khadka-starrer Lalibazar continues to show strong momentum.
According to producer Max Dipesh Khatri, the film has collected approximately NPR 24 million gross across Nepal by Wednesday, marking its sixth day of theatrical run. However, official figures from the Film Development Board are yet to be released.
The production team reports that occupancy rates, number of shows, and overall earnings have increased compared to the opening weekend. In several locations, additional shows have reportedly been added due to steady audience turnout.
Despite ongoing debates and criticism, the continued box office growth of Lalibazar suggests sustained public interest in the film.
