The seventh edition of the FLF Awards, organized by Falgunanda Lingden Films Pvt. Ltd., is set to take place in the United States, celebrating films and music videos created in native languages and cultural themes.
This year’s jury panel includes Ankit Sharma, Binod Shereng, Ashish Lingden, Yasheli Yonghang and Basanti Rai.
The organizers have also unveiled the official nominees across multiple categories. In the Best Actor category, Rohit Rumba, Som Lama, Rudra Pahim and Umesh Gurung have secured nominations.
For Best Actress, the nominees include Laxmi Yonghang, Bimala Khajum, Nishma Jimi, Bipana Angbuhang and Pushpanjali Limbu.
The singing category features nominees such as Bhim Magar, JP Nembwang, Shambhu Phombo, DR Hangsarumba, Mira Fiyak, Niranta Nembwang, Manu Nembwang, Anjila Nembwang, Rajkumar Lingden, Purna Seling and Nandu Tumbapo.
Meanwhile, Sagar Kerung and Dipak Tamang are nominated for Best Director, while Punya Ojha and Babu Tamang have been nominated in the action direction category.
The nominated films include ‘Nakchhung’, ‘Tangsing’, and ‘Che’. Organizers believe the event will help promote indigenous language cinema and cultural creativity on an international platform.
