Emotional Song ‘Mero Lagi Timi’ from ‘Roll No. 1’ Released

Kathmandu — The makers of the upcoming Nepali film Roll No. 1 have released a new emotional song titled ‘Mero Lagi Timi’, highlighting the deep bond, sacrifice, and unconditional love between parents and children.
The song features lyrics, music, and vocals by Prashant Shivakoti. Through emotional storytelling, the track portrays parents as the ultimate source of love and support in a child’s life, emphasizing the sacrifices they make for their children’s future.
The song also hints at the film’s central narrative, which revolves around struggling rural Nepali families and the hardships parents endure to secure a better life for their children.
The music video includes scenes from the movie featuring the lead cast.
Directed by John Yonjan, the film stars Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi and Srijana Adhikari in major roles. Child actors Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Sanyam Katuwal and Sijal Shrestha are also featured in the movie.
Produced by Binod Poudel and Janvi Poudel, the film is co-produced by Chhatramaya Giri and Ramesh Chaulagain. The screenplay has been written by Mahesh Dawadi.
According to the production team, the film explores the psychological impact of the current education system on children and how it shapes their future lives.
The movie is scheduled for release on May 15 and will be screened simultaneously in Nepal and overseas markets. Distribution rights are handled by Rich Entertainment and JM Cinema.
