Kathmandu – The trailer of I Am Jit Bahadur, a film produced by actor Jitu Nepal, has been officially released ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on June 19 (Asar 5).
The trailer was unveiled through OSR Digital’s YouTube channel during a special event held in Kathmandu.
The film tells the emotional story of a young man who leaves his village and arrives in the city with dreams of becoming an artist. Through his journey, the trailer highlights the struggles, sacrifices, and challenges he faces while pursuing his ambitions.
Jitu Nepal appears in a distinct role, portraying a determined young man striving to establish himself in the entertainment industry. The trailer captures the highs and lows of his journey in an emotionally engaging manner.
Directed and written by Indian Bengali filmmaker Subhendu Ghosh, the film stars Barsha Raut opposite Jitu Nepal. According to the production team, the teaser released earlier received encouraging feedback from audiences.
The cast also includes Priyanka Karki, Sandeep Chhetri, Deshbhakta Khanal, Pawan Khatiwada ‘Baba’, Niraj Nepal, and Ansu Maharjan in prominent roles.
Produced under the banner of Karmabhumi Creation, the film’s executive producers are Nishchal Kunwar and Niraj Nepal, while Rajan Sinkhada and Dipendra Adhikari serve as co-producers.
The cinematography has been handled by Indian cinematographer Arvind, and the post-production work was completed in India.
The film will be distributed by RR Films, while OSR Digital has acquired its digital rights.
For Jitu Nepal, who has built a distinguished career spanning more than three decades with memorable performances in both comedy and character roles, I Am Jit Bahadur represents a significant and personal cinematic project.
