Kathmandu – The ‘Ellora Hair and Beauty Unisex Lounge’ has officially commenced operations at Kamaladi, Kulratna Marg, opposite Citizens Bank in Kathmandu. The grand opening ceremony was jointly inaugurated by renowned Nepali singers Nima Rumba and Ram Krishna Dhakal, who cut the ribbon together on Sunday.
The event was also attended by makeup artist and beauty influencer Sushma Karki, widely known on social media as “ksuskalology.”
On the occasion of its launch, the lounge announced a 50 percent discount on all services for the next one week. Operating under the slogan “Your trust, our care,” the lounge aims to provide expert services, premium product usage, and inclusive care for both men and women.
Following the inauguration, singers Rumba and Dhakal shared their experiences related to hairstyling and makeup, expressing happiness over the growing standard of beauty services in Nepal. They also extended their best wishes for the success of the establishment.
Nima Rumba, known for evergreen pop songs such as Miss Catwalk and Huri Batas, and also an actor in the film Kagbeni, along with Ram Krishna Dhakal, famed for timeless hits like Orali Lageko Harinko Chaal Bhayo and currently a producer of the film Malati Mangale, added prestige to the event with their presence.
The lounge has been established in collaboration with model and entrepreneur Manchin Shakya and Shashi Parajuli. Operator Shakya emphasized that there will be no compromise on service quality.
“We believe in authenticity and quality. There will be no compromise in the products used here,” he stated.
