Suspense Thriller ‘Stri’ Sets December 27 Release, Poster Reveals Multiple Character Looks

Kathmandu – The Nepali film “Stri” has officially announced its release date following the completion of production. The makers unveiled a new poster today, confirming that the film will hit cinemas nationwide on December 27.

Produced by Samir Rai and directed by Jiwan Shahi, the film is made under the banner of Towa Creation. The newly released poster features the main cast in distinct and contrasting looks, adding intrigue to the film’s storyline.

The dominant use of red in the poster further suggests that “Stri” is a suspense thriller.

The film stars Deepashree Niraula, Pramod Agrahari, Salon Basnet, Namrata Shrestha, Rista Basnet and Dinesh DC in lead roles. The ensemble cast is seen portraying intense and mysterious expressions in the promotional artwork.

Supporting roles include Surbir Pandit, Narendra Thapa, Dev Sarkar, Rashmi Bhatt, Asmita Basnet, Kajal Karn, Anju Sunar, Rambabu Humagai, Kalpana Shrestha and Samir Lama, among others.

In Nepal, the film will be distributed by Apple Entertainment, Rich Entertainment and FD Company.

The technical team includes Ram Sharan Upreti as DOP, Babul Giri as music composer, Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan handling action direction, Bande Prasad as editor and Alish Karki composing the background score.
