Kathmandu: Renowned Nepali composer and singer Ashish Abiral has been hospitalized after being brutally assaulted in Baltimore, United States. The incident reportedly occurred following a dispute related to work, during which a local man and woman allegedly attacked him.
Abiral sustained serious injuries, including fractures to his nose and the bone beneath his eye. According to musician Laxman Paudel, who is based in the US and is close to Abiral, he also suffered severe injuries to his eye.
He was admitted to a trauma center in Baltimore for treatment after friends who arrived at the scene later rushed him to the hospital.
Doctors have advised surgery on his broken nose. Due to the injury to his eye, Abiral has reportedly been experiencing blurred vision.
Abiral has been living in the United States with his family for the past year.
