KATHMANDU — Nepali film industry figures Dhiren Shakya and Priyanka Karki have inaugurated the newly opened 16T Resto & Bar in Lazimpat, North Durbarmarg area of Kathmandu.
The establishment was formally launched during a ceremony on Thursday, where the artists jointly cut the ribbon. Mrs Nepal World 2025 winner Raksha Pant also participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Speaking at the event, actor Dhiren Shakya highlighted the restaurant’s private location and diverse menu, expressing hope that it would offer a unique dining experience.
Actress Priyanka Karki said she has always supported Nepali businesses and expressed happiness in attending events that promote local entrepreneurship.
According to the management, 16T Resto & Bar has been established with an investment of around NPR 25 million. Proprietor Rajaram Sharma said the restaurant aims to deliver a blend of taste, service, and ambiance, offering Nepali, Indian, and international cuisines.
With its modern interior, comfortable seating, and family-friendly environment, the establishment is expected to become a new dining destination in Kathmandu.
Raksha Pant noted that the restaurant’s friendly and family-oriented atmosphere makes it suitable for all age groups and praised its hospitality and food quality.
