Popular Comedian Prabhat Lama Makes Lead Actor Debut in ‘Teen Tighre Kya Bigre’

Kathmandu: Popular Nepali comedian Prabhat Lama has been cast in the lead role of the upcoming comedy film ‘Teen Tighre Kya Bigre’, marking his debut as a leading actor on the big screen.

Known for entertaining millions through television, digital platforms, and live comedy performances, Lama is set to take on his first protagonist role in the film, which is being produced under the banner of Raghuji Films.

Written and directed by Amardeep Sapkota, the film is scheduled to begin principal photography later this week.

Expressing his excitement after signing the project, Lama said he is thrilled to make his debut as a lead actor. The production team believes his comic timing and screen presence will offer audiences a fresh and entertaining cinematic experience.

Producer Raghunath Sapkota said several other well-known figures from Nepal’s entertainment industry will also be part of the project.

The film will feature songs by renowned singer Pashupati Sharma, while cinematography will be handled by Sankal Bhujel.

Previously announced cast members include Pashupati Sharma, Paritoshika Pant—daughter of singer Anju Panta—and actress Samiya Karki.

Director Amardeep Sapkota said ‘Teen Tighre Kya Bigre’ is being developed as a full-fledged comedy entertainer aimed at delivering laughter, family-friendly entertainment, and a fresh cinematic experience.
