The film Jerry On Top, originally scheduled for release on February 14 (Falgun 2) to coincide with Valentine’s Day, has been postponed.

Producer Saroj Neupane stated that the decision was made because the scheduled timeline would not allow for the completion of filming and other technical work.

The movie recently wrapped up its Lukla schedule and is currently being filmed in Kathmandu. After completing the Kathmandu schedule, the team will head to Mustang and Ladakh, India, for additional shoots. Post-production, including VFX work, will also require substantial time, prompting the postponement of the release date.

Directed by Suyog Gurung, the movie stars Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, Jasita Gurung, Kedar Ghimire (Magne Buda), Bipana Thapa, Bhuwan KC, Sushil Sharma, Sushma Niraula, Suraksha Panta, Sangeeta Magar, and others.

With a story by Hemraj BC, the screenplay is written by Bishwo Timilsena, and dialogues are co-written by Saigress Pokharel. The movie is produced by Saroj Neupane alongside Deepak Bhandari, Robin Serchan, and Ram Krishna Shrestha, with Ishwar Shrestha and Anirudh Giri as executive producers. Associate producers include Om Prakash Agrawal and Vivek Thapa.

Produced under the banners of Ananya Films and Bhandari Multitrade, the film features cinematography by Ujjwal Joshi and editing by Surendra Paudel.

The producers have assured that a new release date will be announced soon.
