Kathmandu: Actress Kajal Karn has publicly addressed the controversy surrounding the film Chiranjivi Bhavah, saying she will present evidence to reveal the truth at the appropriate time.
In a Facebook post, Karn said her name has repeatedly been linked to the issue across social media and various media outlets over the past few days, leaving her unable to remain silent. She stated that the matter is not merely about an incident on a film set but is closely tied to her identity, dignity, and self-respect.
Karn accused some media outlets and news portals of reporting on the issue without verifying the facts, alleging that they have prioritized sensational headlines over the truth. According to her, such reporting has not only affected her personally but has also hurt many other struggling artists.
She revealed that she has already filed a formal complaint via email with the Film Artists Association of Nepal (FAAN) and submitted all relevant evidence. Karn said she is confident that the truth will eventually come to light and that she will address the media with supporting evidence when the time is right.
Emphasizing that she is determined to seek justice, Karn urged the public not to judge or accuse anyone without first understanding the facts and examining the evidence.
