Kathmandu: Global Glamour Venture has officially opened applications for ‘Deepal Presents Miss Universe Nepal 2026’, marking the start of the country’s premier beauty pageant for the new season.
The announcement was made during a launch event held at The Soaltee Kathmandu on Friday, where organizers formally kicked off the audition process.
This year’s competition will be held under the theme “Perfect As You Are,” with the aim of identifying talented, intelligent, confident, and inspiring women capable of representing Nepal on the global stage.
Miss Universe Nepal National Director Sangeeta Puri said the organizing team has prepared an even bigger and more refined edition this year. She confirmed that the grand finale will take place on September 6 at The Soaltee Kathmandu.
CEO Sabi Puri announced that both married and unmarried women are eligible to participate in this year’s competition. Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) women living abroad are also eligible to apply.
Following the successful reign of Miss Universe Nepal 2025 winner Sanya Adhikari, the new edition is inviting aspiring Nepali women from both Nepal and overseas to compete for the national crown. Choreography for the event will be led by Prashant Tamrakar.
Organizers have invited applicants with the question, “Could you be the next Miss Universe Nepal 2026?” This year’s pageant will place special emphasis on personal identity, social advocacy, leadership, and overall personality development.
The organizers said the competition aims to further elevate the standard of beauty pageants in Nepal while empowering women through personal and professional growth opportunities.
Electric vehicle brand Deepal has joined as the title sponsor for the 2026 edition, while technology brand X-Age and Amrit Pure Sunflower Oil have signed on as co-sponsors.
According to the organizers, applications are now officially open, and eligible candidates can submit their entries through the official Miss Universe Nepal website or mobile application.
