Kathmandu: Actress and model Kavita Nepali has been cast as the female lead in director Rupesh Tamang’s upcoming Nepali film ‘Ekka Teen’. The announcement was made on the occasion of her birthday.
The film had already confirmed Pooja Sharma and Pushpa Khadka in lead roles. With Kavita’s addition, the production team says the film’s three principal cast members are now finalized.
According to director Rupesh Tamang, Ekka Teen is an action film, and Kavita was chosen because of the positive response to her action performance in her previous film.
Tamang said audiences can expect a strong on-screen face-off between Pooja Sharma and Kavita Nepali, with both actresses playing significant roles in a story centered on three main characters.
Produced under the banners of Juna Films and Adhira Films, the screenplay has been written by Suman Gajmer. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in Bhadra.
Kavita Nepali previously appeared in the film ‘Eklo’, where her action-oriented performance received positive feedback from audiences.
