Kathmandu: The upcoming Nepali film ‘Kamala Miss’, directed by veteran actor and filmmaker Nir Shah, has released its new song ‘Timi Mero Sanjivani’ as part of its promotional campaign ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on August 7.
Inspired by renowned writer and playwright Vijaya Malla’s acclaimed play ‘Kohi Kina Barbad Hos’, Kamala Miss is a psychological drama that explores complex human emotions and relationships.
The newly released song features lyrics and music by Yug Bhusal, with vocals by Rubai and Sarodi Kumar. Mixing and mastering were handled by Rup Mahanta, while the track was recorded at Playhead Studio in Mumbai. Choreography for the song has been done by Ramji Lamichhane.
The film stars Nir Shah, Ramesh Budhathoki, Basana Timilsina, Shivam Saraf Kshetri, Aarav Dahal, Bhawana Magar, Krishna Murari Dhungel, Sushant Kumar Shrestha, Jayanta Regmi, Suresh Thapa, Rajan KC, and Sanjay Khatiwada.
Produced by the Vijaya Malla family for the Vijaya Malla Memorial Foundation, the film’s executive producers are Chaitanya Prakash Pradhan, Umesh Malla, Rameshbabu Shrestha, and Ram Bhattarai. Pushkar Lama (Prem Bhomjan) serves as the line producer.
The story is based on Vijaya Malla’s original work, while the screenplay and dialogues have been jointly written by Nir Shah, Prajal Dulal, and Sugam Dulal.
The technical team includes cinematographer Shivaram Shrestha, editor Milan Bikram Shah, background score composer Kiran Tuladhar, sound mastering engineer Mukesh Shah, colorist Renish Phago, and choreographer Ramji Lamichhane.
The film will be distributed nationwide by Apple Entertainment, Rich Entertainment, and FD Company.
