The 18th edition of Nepal Telecom Miss Newa Nepa 1145, organized by Nepalese Fashion Home and Fight for Life Nepal, recently completed its audition rounds.
The auditions were held at Thamel Cottages and Canadian Pavillion in Kathmandu. More than three dozen Newari beauties from different parts of Nepal participated. Alongside the Miss Newa Nepa 1145 auditions, a special program celebrating the Newari festival ‘Yomari Punhi’ was also held.
Participants showcased their skills and techniques in making ‘Yomari’. The event was chaired by Hema Manandhar, the president of Fight for Life and Nepalese Fashion Home, with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 18 Chairperson Nhuchhe Kaji Mahajan as the chief guest.
Miss Little Newa 1142 Sujyoti Dangol was also a special guest.
The jury panel included Miss Newa 1143 Sakina Maharjan, choreographer Rojin Shakya, Nepalese language trainer Raju Napit, Neva Dey Daboo Chandragiri President Dhanbir Maharjan, singer Savina Manandhar, Lion’s International District 325 EL PR Officer Lion Mankrishna Shrestha, and Nepal script trainer Shanta Maharjan.
The 18th edition of Miss Newa Nepa 1145 is sponsored by Nepal Telecom.
The competition will feature choreographer Rojin Shakya, Nepalese language training by Raju Napit, and coordination by Miss Newa KriSha Maharjan and Sakina Maharjan.
