Actor Bijay Baral has stated that he is not the hero of the film, but rather a character of society.
Laughing, he said, “I am the hero only to my wife and son, but for films, the character is the hero.”
After playing supporting roles, he has now taken the lead in Purnabahadur ko Sarangi, and he mentioned that acting improves with learning and study. At the White House Literature Festival, he added, “Acting is innate. Observing everything and mimicking it is acting, but it must be transformed into emotion.”

He described acting as a skill, saying, “Currently, natural acting is preferred by everyone. The reason my film Purnabahadur ko Sarangi has been appreciated so much is because of this.”
While he said there isn’t much difference in the acting itself between his previous supporting roles and his current lead role, he noted that the way he approaches it has changed. “Supporting roles are like cleaning the thorns on the road, but in a lead role, you feel the weight of responsibility and pressure,” he explained.
He added that his fee has increased five times compared to before, and the responsibility has grown accordingly. “Many people say that my fee has increased because the film became a hit, but I didn’t ask for it; they come to me on their own,” he remarked.
