Kathmandu – The auspicious muhurat of the new Nepali film ‘Behuli’ was held today, Thursday, at the Karyavinayak Temple in Lalitpur. Produced under The Divine Music and Samman Entertainment, filming is set to begin this week, with the movie scheduled for release on Bhadra 12 during next year’s Haritalika Teej festival.
According to producer Arjun Pokharel, a renowned music composer with numerous hits in Nepali music, this marks his debut as a film producer. Pokharel will also direct the film’s music.
Directed by Sashan Kandel and written by Madhav Sharma, the duo previously collaborated successfully on ‘Hostel 3’, a partnership that continues in ‘Behuli’.
The film features Paras Bam Thakuri (Coolboy) as the lead actor, paired with actress Dibya Rayamajhi. Veteran actors Sushant Karki, Padam Tamang, Santosh Baniya, Sarita Giri, Lokendra Lekhak, Sabin Kattel, and Samayra Thapa Magar will play important roles.

Executive producer Suman Thing Tamang, co-producers Durga Kharel and Ramesh Silwal, creative producer Shankar Koirala, cinematographer Narendra Mainali (DOP), editor Vikash Dahal, and stunt director Roshan Shrestha are part of the production team.
Assistant directors include Sudip Kunwar, Yogendra Karki, and Marlov Dhungana. Production head Yam Prasad Oli, makeup by Raju Vaiba, production design by Kishor Nepal, costume design by Alex Basukla, and publicity design by Royal Bhimsen (Trident Concept) complete the crew.
The film will be distributed by Kafiya Films within Kathmandu Valley and by Shree Venkatesh Entertainment outside, while OSR Digital holds the digital rights.
